Call for Papers


The 23rd joint COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals (CICTP 2023) will be held July, 2023, in Beijing, China, jointly organized by Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA) and Beijing University of Technology (BJUT). As the hosts and organizers of CICTP 2023, COTA and BJUT are pleased to invite submissions of innovative research and practice from both researchers and practitioners. As a world-class conference, the CICTP 2023 will focus on Technology Innovations-Empowered Sustainable, Intelligent, Decarbonized, and Connected Transportation. The CICTP 2023 Full Paper Template is available here. The format of the submission must be in compliance with the ASCE formatting requirements.

The CICTP2023 conference will encompass a series of technical sessions, plenary sessions, panel sessions, and special forums, including the World Bank Forum, the Dean's Forum, and COTA Career Development Forum for Young Scholars and Students and Transportation Studies Forum for International Students in China. Abstract Submission


The online abstract submission opens at the the CICTP2020 conference website ( https://cota-cictp2023.bjut.edu.cn). The abstract, no more than 300 words, must be written in English and should include the paper title, names of authors and their affiliations, as well as no more than five keywords.

Proceedings and Publications


The CICTP 2023 proceedings will be published and also submitted for EI Compendex by ASCE. Selected papers may be invited to submit to high-profile journals.
